The movie was good compared to the book. My biggest issue, however, was towards the end of the movie when Mark Wateny is supposed to get stuck in the storm on his journey to the other base. In the book, this is a crucial part, and it’s really the last big “issue” Watney faces before he tries to escape Mars.
